One of the most frequented areas of the She-conomy blog is the Marketing to Women Quick Facts, so I thought we would highlight a few of them in a short and fun video. Enjoy.

Thanks for exposing this inequity in advertising. Luckily, I’m part of the 3% female creative directors. But there’s a true story posted on our website (under 3 Quick Takeaways) about an agency that pitched a major car account, used 16 men and 1 women as their pitch team, and then criticized the client when they didn’t land the account. The cluelessness about the marketplace is baffling — and will bankrupt agencies in the long run.
I’m interested to know the sources on all this research! Got a video equivalent of a bibliography? In particular, where is that 3% of creative directors number coming from!? That was not my experience back in the original dotcom days when I worked in branding & advertising. So I’m just really surprised, and intrigued! Thanks for any further info you can offer.
Checking out the http://she-conomy.com/report/facts-on-women/ and cannot for the life of me find the 3% source. Sorry if it’s up there and I’m missing it. Appreciate any followup.
